Made two more cards tonight for Jen's May Sketch Challenge.  I wanted to use just black, white and a pleasant green color.  I like my results.  All papers are from Club Scrap.

Card Time

Cards will always be my first crafting love.  Below are rather departures from my usual style of card making.  These are a little on the "cute" side but I couldn't help myself.

The pair of orange cards are "left overs" on my desk after creating a card for a friend's challenge.  Base paper is from Michael Strong for Club Scrap and the remainder of paper is Club Scrap's "Welcome".  Circles, flowers and bird were created on my Cricut using CTMH cartridge "Art Philosophy".

The next two cards are made exclusively with paper from Authentique's  6x6 Collection Bundle, "Celebrate" and it's coordinating stickers.  I like the freshness of these colors with just a little distressed look.

Printer's Tray Pencil Caddy

This is a project that has been on my mind for over a year.  I first saw it on Kay Williamson's Club Scrap blog and later on Tricia Morris' blog.  I spent about two days off and on painting, stamping, gluing and embellishing this dandy and useful caddy.  I happened to have a small lazy susan device that was just the ticket for allowing this to rotate so I can enjoy all the doodads I selected for the cubbies.  I think I will eventually put photos in the openings that are still empty.

Patriotic Rosette Swap

My friend Jen and I are hostessing a Patriotic Rosette Swap.  We should be getting all of our participants' rosettes in the mail this week.  I haven't opened up any of the boxes that have arrived so far.  It will be like Christmas morning when we do.  But meanwhile a few of our swappers are anxious to get just a little taste or spoiler.  So I am posting my own mountain o' rosettes that I made for this very fun swap.

All paper for the rosettes are from Club Scrap.  I used my Cricut and "Art Philosophy" to make the assorted paper stars and the doilies for the backing on each one.  Embellishments are from all over the place...brads, buttons, ribbons, etc.

Thanks for looking.
