I've hopped onto the color train and joined the June 30 Day Coloring Challenge hosted by Kathy of The Daily Marker.

I'm hoping I can keep up with the daily challenges for the next 30 days. So here is the first assignment...Copic coloring. I really enjoyed this challenge because we were to do blending with colors that are not the same. I am used to the blending of 3 colors within the same family of colors. Not so this time and I am pleased with the results though my technique of blending needs work.
Since the assignment used a butterfly for the stamped image I decided to do the same and chose my Michael Strong butterfly. What a lovely cloisonné pattern it has which made it a bit more challenging for me to color rather than the typical symmetrical look of a real butterfly. I then mounted it on a copper panel and onto a dark green card stock.
Thanks for looking and "I'll be back" tomorrow with another coloring assignment.
Your butterfly is fabulous. Great details.Thank you so much for participating in The 30 Day Coloring Challenge and I hope you will be up for the next one.
