Well this week anyway. I am having so much fun exploring the elements of Simon Says Stamp card kit from June. The buttons I made myself from chip board pieces covered in other papers. I often admire the chip board buttons I see with the interesting prints so I tried making my own. Quite easy to do.
Welcome to my place where I want to share my interests in paper crafting, jewelry and anything else that comes to mind.

I am really enjoying exploring some new looks in my crafting style. I've never been one for cute but these papers/kits from Simon Says Stamp (SSS) have given me a new outlook that is so fresh and fun. Here is a first look of what I created last night playing with the July kit. A few embellishments (lace and wooden items) from my stash were added but all else is SSS.

My friend Kat has asked a group of us to make cards for a very special project involving WW II veterans. These cards will be used on a return trip from DC after these vets have visited for the first time the WWII War Memorial. They will have a Mail Call on the flight home and they want to be sure that every vet receives a Thank You for their bravery and service. Being a daughter and daughter-in-law of WWII vets I am honored to be a part of this special event. Below are my cards.
